Our Background

LABA College (DBA: L.A. Coffee College) is a private institution that is approved to operate by B.P.P.E. (California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education), and that approval to operate means compliance with state standards as set forth in the CEC and 5, CCR. An institution may not imply that the Bureau endorses Programs, or that the Bureau approval means the institution exceeds minimum state standards. 

Since 2008, L.A. Coffee College (Previously L.A. Barista Academy) has been a coffee consultant for some of the hottest boutique coffee bars not just in California but also all over the world. Over 500 top-shelf baristas graduated from our specialty coffee courses so far. In an ever-changing specialty coffee industry, finding the right trade and a fitting training program might seem like an impossible task.
